Autumn means two things: the beginning of cuffing season and new smart phone releases. Today, technology may cost you a down payment on that new home you wanted to buy.
If you are cool, yet socially awkward like me and my friends then you most likely will drop your $1k new cellphone. Some of us may be still making monthly installations on it!

Finagle was written and produced by Curt Cohiba last fall. The new visual of the song gives the artful sound new life as Cohiba reveals scenes that show new power that is continuously growing within the young entrepreneur millennial community.
Nonetheless, it wouldn’t be a Curt Cohiba and Steven Abriani motion picture without some subliminal imagery or deeper meaning conceptual art.
Here are just some subliminal messages that you may or may not have caught.
Cohiba raises a black umbrella over his head inside a ballroom symbolizing his umbrella organization that protects him at all times as he “Finagles”
Cohiba wears all black under European Renaissance art…STANDING OUT
You never get to see the girl’s face…who does she represent?
The sirens in the background in the beginning of the video…heard from a distance downtown Chicago symbolizes that just a few miles away there is violence.
In the hotel lobby, Cohiba is reading the art of war under a ceiling filled with Greek gods. Why?
Just a few of many subliminal tidbits of the music video. See if you can find them all!
Come celebrate the launch of the new Youtube webseries “Art is Charisma” THE night of it’s premiere with performances from the cast and Chicago’s best indie talent!
What do you call a group of young geniuses from all over the world that master their crafts, studies, and practices only to teach it to the masses at some of the world’s largest platforms through art?
A: L.O.T.T.O. Entertainment aka #TheUmbrellaSociety
I know, it sounds like something out of a Stan Lee comic book. Call it an artistic version of the Avengers. A team of scholars, political voices, actors, directors, artists, Disc Jockeys, poets, athletes, visionaries, elders, educators, musicians, activists, business owners, motivational speakers, doctors, lawyers and neighborhood heroes who have made a change for the better in their lives. All these men and women, young and old, from different creeds and ethnic groups have come together under one umbrella for one purpose, under God: TO EVOLVE AS A SOCIETY
Curt Cohiba, founder of L.O.T.T.O. ENT, (Learn Only To Teach Others) isn’t interested in what he can do for himself. He isn’t interested in selling out his organization for profit either. He has openly admitted that he is nobody’s boss or don. He is simply trying to shed light on a group of talented people he believes in through a platform he has been building since he was a sophomore in college.
“The best thing about #TheUmbrellaSociety is that I’m not even close to being the coolest person in it. Sh*t, I’m not even the smartest person in it”. Cohiba laughed and then exclaimed, “To be honest, I’m not even the coolest person in my band! The society works because I believe in the people who surround me. I work with people who I believe in and likewise they believe in my agenda and me. The rest comes to us naturally.”
Curt Cohiba is headlining at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville on December 16th, just 2 months after the Chicago Cubs’ won their first WORLD SERIES championship since 1908. This performance comes just 3 months after headlining at the legendary House of Blues, Chicago where he will be a special guest performing a song with the star studded jam band SNEEZY this Saturday.
Curt is a youth counselor, visual director, philanthropist, executive producer, founder, and coach. He now even has added music producer in his latest song “Finagle” produced by himself and engineered by DJ Phil.
L.O.T.T.O. ENT is a unique team with music at the core. One could imagine what’s in store for this group of talented vigilantes. When asked who all is apart of this elite society, Cohiba claims, “we haven’t even introduced half of the organization to the public yet. People are still trying to figure out my angle and get use to me.” He is slowly unveiling what he wants the public to know one day at a time.

Maywood, IL is a small town 15 minutes outside of Chicago that has over time developed the notorious nickname “Murdawood.” In the late 1960’s and early 70’s, crimes emerged due to the closings of housing projects in Chicago. Many African Americans migrated to Maywood from ghettos all over the city. At that time people were not very accepting of their new neighbors, and poverty only added fuel to the fire.
Today, Maywood is rich with hidden gems and culture. The people here are talented artists, scholars, musicians, politicians, beauticians, athletes, entrepreneurs, and historians. The town is so rich with hidden gems and culture.
Out of Maywood emerged a young hero with a promising future as a professional boxer. He is someone that not only Maywood, but the state of Illinois can believe in. The young champion is known as Martez McGregor.
He attended the Fred Hampton Scholarship Fund award ceremony this summer and plans on working with leaders and youth in the Maywood/Chicago-land community. When he is not putting in blood, sweat, and tears in the world famous Sam Colonna Boxing Gym, he is taking care of his family.
Turning down contracts left and right, Martez McGregor is literally fighting for FREEDOM! His boxing matches are known to last just a few seconds; so spectators are encouraged to arrive early. Currently 3-0 with 3 knockouts, two out of the three fights he’s had recently lasted 2 minutes and 28 seconds, COMBINED. Martez has the power of Mike Tyson and is faster than greased lightning.
Curt Cohiba & Jackpot the Umbrella Band headlined at the House of Blues last Thursday night and killed the performance. Cohiba and the Umbrella Band were scheduled to open earlier this month, but the box office and Chicago’s underground hip hop fans said otherwise. According to the numbers, Curt Cohiba’s talent was beyond being an opening act- he was meant to headline.
This up and coming rap artist/counselor is making some serious waves throughout the Windy City.
Those who have heard of him or his music knows that when it comes to his live performances, he aims to entertain. The band consists of young mental, medical, and musical professionals. Instruments range from the electric guitar to the saxophone.
The Pocket Shirt Player performed at The Cubby Bear less then a month ago with the band Sneezy! Curt Cohiba music is different. His style is different. Dressed in suspenders and Gucci glasses, his witty lyrics and memorable hooks, together build catchy and inspirational songs…so much so you might forget this guy’s a rapper.
No team of writers for this artist.
His songs are original and ultimately dope. Reminding you of the 90s in one moment and remembering Eric Garner the next- Cohiba takes you with him on a journey through his mind… eventually finding the Loophole.
“The video took 9 hours, had to recapture the mouth shape frame by frame for the whole video. 300 slices of bacon were cooked.”
-Jack “Juice” Holland
(The Umbrella usage in the video is nothing less than mind blowing)
To each his own, not the biggest fan of Bacon as my choice of food, however Sneezy’s summer video is genius and the jam band is on the rise with out a doubt.
This summer Sneezy has dropped a new album entitled…”Sneezy”
From packing shows at action packed venues like The Metro and having performances all around the Chicago Land Area while creating unforgettable ballads about random awesomeness. Some would say their covers are usually what the original SHOULD sound like. Sneezy is all about uniqueness, positive vibes, food, and alcohol…a lot of alcohol.
